Artist Neecy J gives 3 tips on how to win in music

It is now more than ever clear that being an artist in this ruthless industry can be challenging. There is no guarantee that you will attract fans or create a brand that fans will look up to. The pressure of constantly making music and maintaining an image that sometimes doesn’t live up to your expectations can be difficult. There is also stiff competition from other industry representatives and critics who question the ability of the artists.

All of this can be challenging for any artist. However, facing the realities of the music industry may be the only thing that allows you to maneuver into your new possibilities.

Neecy J is a DMV music performer in Washington DC who knows what it takes to break into the music industry and make a name for himself.

She sees how many people themselves want to start a career in the music industry, so she offers three tips on how to move forward.

Obstacles are just steps

As much as we would like to “prepare” for the future, challenges are inevitable here. And in an industry as daunting as music, there should soon be plenty of those that aspiring artists will encounter. And Nisi Jay looks at each of them with her head held high.

“I overcome obstacles by first being confident and aware of everything I do. I try to block out all the noise, stand firm in my craft, and give my best 100 percent regardless of the skeptics. I have a strong faith and I always put God first in my life, ”she said.

Have a strong mindset

Neecy J believes that how you react to obstacles is important. Learning to develop a strong mind will greatly help any artist. Sometimes the biggest problem we face as artists is not business or technical issues, but personal issues that manifest themselves in the artist’s work.

“They should focus on a strong mind. This industry is not for the weak, and you have to be able to drown out the noise and skeptics, ”she suggested.

Finding the right people

Niecy J. added that aspiring artists should also focus on having a great foundation, that is, having a small circle with people they can trust and who believe in their craft 100 percent.

Personally, she has worked with a wonderful team that supports her through her work, cares for her own interests and believes in her craft, which makes her more capable of handling the hardships of her career.

But finding the right people is not as easy as it sounds, especially if the music industry is full of critics and skeptics.

“I realized that you can’t take people at face value. This person must prove their loyalty and show what they can do before you can trust people in this game, ”she said.
